Octo-PIE!

Why have I not posted anything since forever? Hard work, and laziness. I know, it makes no sense. Neither does drawing on toilet paper with a stubborn Bic ballpoint pen. But I did it.

I guess this is what happens when you have a hundred other things to do, are sick, and think the world is a silly little play thing. Night.

Zombieland is of Happy Face

Surviving comic upload hell I have reverted back to a simple drawing for now. Takes less time any how. This probably took about an hour or so. I was going for pretty puke.

Emma Stone is pretty darn cool. Something I can't really say about any other actress. Really dig the unkept, somber feel of this photo.

I kind of want to punch an evil person in the face. But I don't know any of them.

Bioknocurloors

Didn't have a stylized goal so I figured I would try to do a figure study of sorts. It's been well over a year since I've done anything of this type, figured I should see if I still had it. Used an H Mars Lumograph for this one. Took several sittings to get this finished, I'd guess 3+ hours. Not spending that kind of time on the next one.

More hipster girl. Really appreciating the cold love from this image. I failed to capture her likeness exactly. Needed to lower the overall volume of her eyes and pump up the chin a bit. Oh well. Still fun.

New day, new sketch, fun times. Decided to pencil this one in, no digital. Took a little over an hour.

Oh look, I found the hipster girl I wanted this time. Good work internets! I love rain. And porches housing female forms dressed in wierdo clothes. Yay.

The law eye for an eye worked wonders...till the blind man found a loophole.

Got tired of doing homework for semester finals. So I wasted time doing this random sketch. The drawing took around 45 minutes. The digital painting...took MUCH longer. I hate programs. But I like the final composition I stumbled upon by letting go of a set time limit. Yay me.

I want to sketch a lot more from reference, even if I end up stylizing the end product. I typed 'hipster girl' into google image and got this. Weird. Then while sketching I realized...this is probably from an erotic photo set, opps.
